
What is the Wave of Light?
The "Wave of Light" is a symbolic global event where people light candles at 7 pm local time on October 15th to remember babies who have died too soon, particularly during pregnancy or infancy. It's a way to honor these lives and support those affected by the loss. The event is part of Baby Loss Awareness Week.
Three Little Bird's Annual Wave of Light Event
Since 2018, Three Little Birds has hosted it's marquee event, the Wave of Light, annually in honor Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day. This event has grown from a dozen families at a public park to a large, catered event since our founding. Most recently, we hosted dozens of bereaved families, loved ones, advocates and providers to an evening of comfort, connection and remembrance. Read more about our marquee event over the years below:
