Come and find out what's happening with
As we enter the new year, Three Little Birds is also celebrating its third birthday!
Over the past two years, the organization's founders have worked hard to provide comfort, resources and support to families in the Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey metro region suffering from the unthinkable loss of a pregnancy or baby. This includes photographing families and siblings as they welcome and say goodbye to a precious family member, sitting bedside and helping them make memories, following up with post-partum support, as well as working with funeral service providers to help alleviate the financial burden of losing a baby. This is in addition to answering countless emails, phone calls and requests for support not just here, but across the country!
Since our founding, we have served more than 75 families, all with unique and heartbreaking stores. We have had the honor of serving two sets of triplets, four sets of twins and numerous other babies, big and small....all of which have left footprints on our hearts.
The validation and dignity families receive through the services and programs developed by Three Little Birds sets the foundation for the healing journey afterwards. Three Little Birds provides all of its support services and programs at NO COST to the family. No one should have to worry about paying for support. Our mission is to build a nest of support comprised of other families, medical professionals and empathetic volunteers to envelope families in love as they begin to understand what has happened.
We are so grateful to the numerous families we have supported who have returned to us with the same passion to help families. As we enter 2018, we have developed an Advisory Board comprised of volunteers, medical professionals, community sponsors and families who believe in our mission and are seeking to take our plans and goals to the next level through their professional experience and personal experience.
As our nest grows, we are truly grateful to all the support we have received through word of mouth, networking and the sharing of our resources. There were times over the past two years where we felt stuck, stalled and as if things would never move forward, knowing we could be doing more and making a bigger difference. As we enter 2018, we are inspired by the possibilities we see when we get together to build this nest and change the face of perinatal care not just here in our own community, but across the country.
Thank you for your support. We invite you to join our nest in 2018. We have lots of fundraisers and gatherings planned as we grow and the demand for these services becomes more apparent on a global level.
