Three Little Birds Perinatal is proud to announce it is a Member of the Pregnancy Loss & Infant Death Alliance (PLIDA)! PLIDA serves as leaders in perinatal and neonatal bereavement care. They do this through education, advocacy and networking for health care providers and parent advocates. They promote the highest quality of consistent evidence based care for all families.
Their motto: Providing perinatal bereavement care is imperative. It is not an option.
Three Little Birds Perinatal is proud to be associated with an organization who expresses their mission through professional continuing education, the establishment of position statements and practice guidelines, unified response to issues in the media or legislation, and by creating a network for professionals to share questions, resources, insight and support. They serve as leaders in perinatal and neonatal bereavement care through education, advocacy and networking for health care providers and parent advocates. We are excited to learn and implement their standards of care and strategies into Three Little Birds Perinatal's upcoming Hospital Sponsorship Packages!!
Three Little Birds Perinatal & Palliative Care Advocacy & Support Center is proud to announce we have been accepted as a Member of the International Stillbirth Alliance (ISA)! The ISA is a non-profit coalition of organizations whose mission is to raise awareness of stillbirth and to promote global collaboration in the effective prevention of stillbirth and provision of appropriate care for parents whose baby is stillborn.
Headquartered in the UK, the ISA strives to gather resources and research to provide global assistance in the fight against preventable stillbirth. This membership includes the likes of other fabulous organizations, particularly, the Star Legacy organization based out of Minnesota.
Three Little Birds' mission is not only to support families immediately and post partum. Part of our mission is to provide on-going resource and data collection to be used to further research why these tragedies happen, but more importantly, to prevent them.
We are very proud of this membership. This puts us on an international level and helps us to fulfill our mission to #shatterthestigma of pregnancy and infant loss here in our local community as well as globally.
