Three Little Birds Perinatal hosted its first Craft 'N Sip Party this February! The intention of this event was to bring bereaved families, friends and supporters together to have a safe space to share their personal stories, as well as create a beautiful piece of art in memory of their baby or loved one.
The evening began with an introduction of the organization, the purpose of the event, as well as others sharing the struggles they have faced with pregnancy and infant loss as well as infertility. Very soon after we began, everyone began chatting as if they had been friends for years, each listening, validating and supporting one another! There was no shortage of love or hugs for attendees that night!
The discussion of support groups was raised and the general consensus was they left the traditional support groups they attended underwhelmed and not as supported as they had hoped. All participants agreed creating art while engaging in conversation made them feel comfortable and inspired as they listened and shared.
By the end of the night, each participant left the event with a beautiful, unique Birdhouse Nightlight in memory of their precious loved one, as well as a nest of support for them as they continue on their healing journey!
We encourage participants to share their personal thoughts and feelings about the event and how you felt as you went home. Thank you so much for coming, sharing your hearts and making our nest bigger and bigger!
We are so grateful to Sweetsboro Pastry Shoppe for their donation of delicious cookies for our event, as well as Image is Everything Studios for hosting the event!
We are hoping to host our next Craft ‘N Sip event to honor Mother’s Day! If you are interested in developing our next craft or participating, let us know!
Three Little Birds Perinatal was lucky to have two fundraisers thrown for us this past weekend. The second event of the night was hosted by Three Little Birds Volunteer, Bridget Papagno.
At a recent Three Little Birds Perinatal Birdhouse meeting, attendees discussed the difficulties around Halloween as a bereaved parent. In discussing future events or ideas we can develop to do something joyous around the holiday, Bridget decided she was going to turn her annual Halloween party into fundraiser for Three Little Birds!
Family and friends were treated to a hauntingly good time at their home. To enter the party, you had to complete the scary haunted maze through their front yard! After several dead ends, scary creeps and creatures, as well as laughs, the party began! The Papagno family went above and beyond to make the party as fun and spooky for attendees and had several fundraisers for people to support, including a Husband/Wife and Brother/Sister Pie in the Face contest, Chinese auction for items donated from our Community Sponsors Essential Lightworker and Envy Executive Mobile Car Wash & Detailing as well as other generous business owners in attendance. All money raised will go towards helping supporting families through the loss of a baby.
Bridget is the beauty and brains behind the Essential Lightworker, a small-owned business promoting essential oils and their healing uses. She has developed three blends for Three Little Birds families, which has received wonderful feedback. The funds raised from this event will go towards creating items for sale in the organization’s Etsy page. We sell items across the country to families seeking items to help them heal from pregnancy and infant loss. Participants made a $10 donation at the door and was able to purchase tickets to bid on items in the Chinese auction to help boost funds throughout the night! The nights events raised over $330 for Three Little Birds Perinatal!
We cannot thank Bridget and Joe, their two amazing kids Nikki and Timmy and all their friends and family’s support for this successful fundraiser! The support of everyone of Three Little Birds’ mission, services and programs is overwhelming and we are so grateful to know such amazing people and new friends!

Three Little Birds Perinatal was lucky to have two fundraisers thrown for us this past weekend. The first event, Signs for Noah, was hosted by volunteer, Bobbi Daniels, as a way to gather her friends and family for a “paint and sip” party.
Bobbi found Three Little Bird’s website and resources about two months after experiencing a miscarriage at seven weeks. She and her husband had struggled with infertility for years and embarked upon a journey of In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF) to help them conceive their much loved and wanted child.
After a brief hello and introduction, Bobbi shared with everyone about her struggles. “When you go through IVF, you have already experienced the loss of not being able to conceive, which is a grief all its own. We were so hopeful after seeing numerous doctors and having a successful retrieval. We saw Noah when he was five days old, before he even was transferred to my womb. He was a microscopic ball of cells and we loved him from the moment we laid eyes on him. To lose him at seven weeks was DEVASTATING. Those weeks that followed were very dark times. Then I found Three Little Birds’ website and information and slowly I started to realize, Noah was real. He mattered and I will spend every day mourning the loss of his life, but now, I can also bond with other families and focus on the love his life has brought us. When I met Kristen, it was as if we had already known each other. She was the first person to ask me what my baby’s name was….and that was such a gift. His name is Noah. And I am his mama.”
Soon after Bobbi shared her story, something amazing happened…..other attendees boldly and bravely shared their stories with a room full of strangers. Many of these stories have been held in their hearts for years with no place to be shared. We hope each participant, whether they have a personal connection to pregnancy and infant loss, found some healing in the gathering that night in Noah’s memory.
Bobbi partnered with Wicked Restorations to create a beautiful sign for attendees to paint and take home with them. Each sign that was made was unique, however, the message all focused on family. Wicked Restorations also generously raffled off a basket of goodies to benefit Three Little Birds!
An important element to the gathering was the table of candles. "Three Little Birds sent me a Miscarriage Comfort Care Box with several items to bring comfort and validation as we grieved. One thing I loved from the box was the small candle and note encouraging us to light the candle in times of sadness to remember our baby's energy is always with us." says Noah's mom. Bobbi encouraged participants to light a candle in memory or honor of a baby in their heart or just all babies in general. "You could really feel the collective energy of love in the room. It is really powerful!"
Natalie Rivera, of Wicked Restorations, is also a Rodan + Fields Skin Care Consultant. Inspired by Bobbi’s story and the mission of our organization, she has declared “November is for Noah” and is donating half of her sales commission to Three Little Birds to help support the services and programs we provide for free to the local community.
The night ended with more than $800 in donations in Noah’s memory. This money will be earmarked for a legacy project in his honor however his parents wish to use it. This will ensure Noah’s legacy lives on!
Thank you again to Bobbi Daniels, her family and friends, Co-Founder Desiree Miller and sweet baby Noah, who we are so blessed to be touched by. We would also like to thank the Alpha Gun Club of Atco, NJ for donating the space for the event!
